When I first got to Japan I was lucky enough to be part of a forum that had information on an event hosted by one of the biggest names in the business, HKS.
They had many of their company demo cars there. Everything from minivans
to GTRs.
And at the time of the event the 86/BRZ chassis was still very new.
Since the chassis was so new at the time, the event had 86s/BRZs from many top manufacturers across Japan.
Nobuteru Taniguchi was out in the HKS D1GP 86.
As with any show in Japan

With both the ProcessR track car and his personal gold daily driver
But the whole event was to show off HKS products like this supercharged jetski.
And this piece of engineering perfection,
the VR41GT1000, a 1000hp VR series engine.
